OV Gang 24 Hour Ride for Cancer

OV Gang 24 Hour Ride for Cancer

Our Ride Leader Bianca currently holds the title of fastest female, but is going for all the glory as fastest female as recorded by the Guinness World Record in her second attempt. More than that, she has a deep and powerful story of how she came to this place where she is, inspired by the tragedy of losing her sister Katrina to ovarian cancer.

In 2022 Bianca will ride from Vancouver's City Hall to Halifax City Hall, crossing the country and 5713 kms over 15 days.

Our first fundraising event will kick off this year, with a goal of raising $250,000 for Ovarian Cancer. Over the next 8 months, TLD will be doing a direct partnership with Bianca to run her “OV Gang” campaign to help her to raise $1 million dollars. Yes. $1 MILLION!

About the cause

Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 3,100 will be diagnosed this year.

Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honor her means everything. That’s why I am supporting this vital cause.

This event is special to me because it honours women and families touched by ovarian cancer and celebrates the hope that I carry with me every day – the hope for a future without this disease.

Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the Canadian charity championing the health and wellbeing of women with ovarian cancer and those at risk for the disease, while advancing research to save lives. Funds will help further scientific progress, advocacy efforts and support programs.

Please support this event with a generous donation. Together we can help women live fuller, better and longer lives.
